Lush Product Series: Episode 1 - Bath & Shower

How To:

Fill tub with warm water, drop in the bath bomb and enjoy its lovely color and fragrance. Some LUSH bath bombs contain flower petals and or other surprises. If you prefer not to have them floating in your tub, wrap the bath bomb in a nylon before use. To make your experience even more memorable, combine a bath bomb with a bath melt.

Best Seller Bath Bombs:
Fizzy O'Therapy

Spicy ginger and clove bud relieve aching muscles

When you're feeling the strain, Fizzy O'Therapy provides warming comfort to aching muscles, creaking joints and sore feet. Imagine a warm bath fizzing with ginger, cloves, cinnamon and coriander; it's almost worth spending a couple of hours in the pool, or in the gym lifting weights, to justify immersing yourself in Fizzy's spicy, soothing bath-soup. (But you don't have to. Use one whenever you feel you need warming comfort.) Follow up with a Therapy massage bar rub for a calm and relaxed body.

Butterball Bath Bomb

A very vanilla soak to lull your skin into soft submission

Get ready for a hot one. Butterball's flecks of cocoa butter melt into a tubful of soothing deliciousness to make skin soft and supple. The vanilla musk fills your bathroom with a light, sweet bouquet while your skin basks in its moisturizing embrace and your senses sigh with pleasure. You deserve it; so slide into a buttery bath with Butterball.

How To:

Crumble under running warm water as you fill the tub. The amount you need to use will vary but this bar usually yields three to four baths. The stronger your water pressure, the more bubbles you will make; we encourage experimentation for best results. To get the most out of your bubble bars, keep them in a cool, dry place.

Best Seller Bubble Bar:
Karma Bubble Bar

Eastern spice and orange bubble bath spread light and love all over the place

If you've searched in vain for a fragrance with meaning; something meant to be worn forever rather than discarded with last season's fashions, then Karma could be just right for you. It has a spicy Far Eastern influence, with traditional European lavender and a splash of light orange dancing around in there somewhere. Once struck, you'll want it in every form that exists. Here it is as a bubble bar.

How To:

Drop half or a whole bath melt into the tub as it fills with warm water. When the tub is full, get in and let the natural oils soften and moisturize your skin. Bath melts are designed to melt at body temperature so keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Best Seller Bath Melt:
Dreamtime Bath Melt

Reassuring lavender and chamomile calm your senses before bed

Drifting off into a peaceful sleep has never been easier than after a warm bath with a Dreamtime bath melt. Its natural moisturizers help to soften your skin while lavender, jasmine, sandalwood and chamomile help you relax and get ready for bed. Sweet dreams!

How To:

Use in the shower or bath for delectably soft skin. Store in a well drained soap dish and keep dry between uses. Due to the amount of natural butters they contain, buttercreams melt easily so be sure to keep them away from heat sources. Try chilling or freezing buttercreams for an especially refreshing experience.

If I were to buy, my choice of Buttercream will be:
Emperor of Ice Cream Buttercream

Orange blossoms and mangos luxuriously nourish and cleanse skin

The Emperor of Ice Cream cleansing buttercream has rich macadamia nut oil, mango butter and magnificently expensive rose and jasmine absolutes. We wrap it only in vine leaves because it makes your skin feel so lovely you'll want to walk around naked. The Emperor of Ice Cream is named after a poem by Wallace Stephens. We decided to take the title and create a cleansing buttercream with only the finest ingredients fit for a king.

How To:

Shower jellies are one of our most innovative products and there are many fun ways to use them. You can crush them into a shower pouf to create a rich lather or rub them directly on your body. Try freezing (or chilling) them for an especially cool, refreshing shower or bath experience. Shower jellies also make great shampoos and add lots of softness and shine to hair.

If I were to buy, my choice of Shower Jelly will be:
Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly

Berry blast jelly cleanser leaves skin smelling delicious

Sweetie Pie cleansing shower jelly is made specially to smell like donuts and cherry muffins. We pour tantalizing blackcurrant and bergamot essential oils into a mixture of coconut infusion and skin softening seaweed jelly, along with a helping of purifying cypress oil. We add our secret jelly mixture then mash in sour cherries to give the sweetness a darker side. If you love the smell of You Snap The Whip but prefer to treat yourself less harshly, then Sweetie Pie is the jelly for you.

How To:

Place one on the floor of your shower under the water flow. As the warm water hits the emotibomb, it fizzes and surrounds you in a cloud of fragrant steam. For a sensory overload, wash with a complementary shower gel or piece of fresh handmade soap.

Best Seller Emotibomb:
Sex In The Shower Emotibomb

Cheeky ginger-scented fun in the shower

Going green is near and dear to our hearts so something like Sex in the Shower that encourages people to share the shower and conserve water is a very fine thing indeed. As the warm water touches its surface, wafts of sensual ginger entwine themselves around you. Reach for a bar of soap and wash your partner all over; just remember to turn the water off while you're in a lather. It's important to act responsibly in the shower.
